Invitation to learn about
4G & 5G Critical Communications – Systems Interworking
Users of Critical Communication networks must rely on efficient radio systems to provide wireless communication for support of their daily operation. Implemented radio technology, network design and user requirements must be carefully matched against each other.
A solid understanding of users’ requirements and the possibilities and limitations of technologies is therefore essential.
This Web-Seminar discusses issues which need to be considered when radio systems for critical communications shall be introduced or existing systems shall be replaced. It examines how the interconnection of legacy LMR technologies with modern 4G/5G systems is feasible and will explain the steps taken by 3GPP and relevant LMR Standards Authorities to facilitate this interworking and ensure seamless communication. Participants will gain insight into the challenges posed by connecting networks with different operational requirements, functional capabilities, and service limitations.
Although this Web-Seminar is open to all, prior knowledge of telecommunications systems is recommended.
